Which browsers are supported by EnergyPlanner?
Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge works best for EnergyPlanner. Other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Safari are supported as well, but we recommend a browser with stronger WebGL support.
EnergyPlanner works on all modern web browsers that support WebGL1 or higher. For the best performance and most reliable experience, we recommend Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based). These browsers are continuously updated and provide the most complete support for WebGL, WebGL2 and the upcoming WebGPU standard.
Mozilla Firefox is also supported and works well, though in some cases performance may be slightly lower compared to Chrome or Edge.
Safari on macOS and iOS is supported, but due to limitations in its WebGL2 implementation, visual artefacts or reduced performance may occur. For critical work we recommend switching to Chrome or Edge.
