Besides Street View and Cyclomedia Panoramas, you can also use your custom panoramas in EnergyPlanner.
Go to the edit menu and through the visualize tab. Click on Custom Panoramas.
Click on the plus icon to select a file from your computer. Keep in mind that panoramas should be a JPG, and need to have a 2:1 aspect ratio with a file size under 20MB.
Fill in the coordinates of your panorama and specify the correct height it was taken at, which in this case is 1.8m.
Name your custom panorama.
And click import. Notice how now you have a camera icon as a marker instead of an icon.
Save it as a viewpoint and use your custom panorama for all functionalities you would expect from a panoramic viewpoint, like calibration, masking and making animations.
In almost every case, a custom panorama should always be calibrated.
A more in-depth tutorial about panorama calibration is available in the tutorial section of our website.
We can also support you with finding the right 360 degree camera. Today, making spherical photos is as easy as taking a normal photograph. And if your spherical photo contains georeferenced data, Windplanner can use this information to make sure your panorama will be uploaded to the precise location.
