Enhancements:


KML on the 3D world

  • As a first test we have made it possible for KML custom layer to also be displayed on the 3D world. Keep in mind that this is currently an experimental feature, certain layers may not look exactly the same.

Manual SkyDetect has gained some new options

  • You can now track the position of your brush in the 3D world, when editing the mask a crosshair will appear in the panorama on the 3D world to indicate where your mouse is in the drawing canvas.
  • Added a transparency option which will allow you to see the objects that are visible in the panorama you are editing. Together with the new crosshair this should make it a lot easier to identify where you should adjust your mask.

Manual masking will be removed

  • We have decided that the old method of masking with the manual masking is no longer good enough for EnergyPlanner. Everyone making use of these masks will still be able to use them but creating a new mask is no longer possible.
  • We recommend that you always use the Manual SkyDetect masking whenever you need to make adjustments to the mask of a panorama.

Line & Grid trace lines

  • Placed Line & Grid models will now have the option to display a connecting trace line on the ground in the 2D and 3D world.
  • You can choose to turn these lines on or off in the settings.

Solar loading performance

  • Loading times for solar farms have been drastically improved.

Dashboard: Organization page

  • Organization page has been added to the dashboard, this page is only visible for the owner of a license.
  • In this page you can currently change the organization name set in EnergyPlanner.
  • If you also make use ofthe Present Module you are also able to access the Allowed Iframe origins feature on this page.

Present: iframe communication and integration

  • The present module can now be intergrated as an iframe into your own website. Not only can you display Present but you can also communicate with the iframe.

Fixes:

  • Moving a path or objects is now possible for ObjectPlanner, previously it was only possible to move the points in a path.
  • Adjusting the sag of a pylon no longer moves the insulator incorrectly.
  • Deleting a large quantity of Line & Grid objects has been restored.
